Some of the best memories in life bring tears to your eyes. It is just because you miss those times spent with your loved ones. Those memories were the best time you spent with your loved ones not knowing the fact that down the line you would cherish this moment. I thought of noting in down on this lazy day as I ve nothing to do, or should I say not willing to do anything.

To start off I will pen down the memories which I had in mind before I decided to write down such memories. It was our summer vacations and since we completed our SSC examinations we were free to roam around without our parents complaining. We were enjoying our newly acquired freedom. We used to play video games all day along with mom feeding us regularly with good food. It was days when we feel like King of the world, with no one to oppose us. We got the same treatment in each other s house. It was when a day came when my family planned a trip to Panoramic resort Karnala for a two day visit. I was over the moon when I heard this plan and shared it with my friend Sharath.

His face after hearing the news was lament instead of being happy. I wondered what the issue was and when asked him he diverted the topic to some more interesting topic. After getting back home when my mother asked did I told everyone about the plan, I remembered the expressions on Sharath s face. I told my mother about the incident and it was my mother who reminded me that the day we planned the picnic was Sharath s birthday. Now I was in catch 22 situation and I was pretty sure that I wanted to be with Sharath on his birthday but on other hand I couldn t say no to my parents as they had this planned just for me.

I didn t know how I could manage the situation. It was again my mother, who many a times helped me out of very bad situation, came to my rescue. She asked my dad to invite Sharath to the picnic with us. Since my dad was an employee of Panoramic Universal Ltd, that managed Panoramic resort Karnala, booking extra tickets at the last moment was not difficult. I was not aware of this development until a day before the picnic.

Even the same was for him as even his parents decided to surprise him with this news. The next day, on the day of picnic, I found him outside my house with his back packed. I still remember the smile on his face when he came to my house with his parents. It was complete chaos when we were in the car on our way to the Karnala resort. Even my dad and mom didn t object to us shouting and fighting with each other in the car. They know that they have made both our day by inviting Sharath to the outing. This memory still brings tears to my eyes every time I think of it. Also, the fact Sharath is no longer in this world.
